My name is Clara García Gutiérrez and I am a licensed clinical psychologist (Psicóloga General Sanitaria). I specialise in behaviour analysis and contextual therapies, evidence-based approaches within psychology.
I see psychological problems as coping solutions that were useful in the past but that, in the present, cause suffering and a feeling of being stuck, because they have stopped working.
I approach therapy as skills training and, therefore, as a matter of practice that is accessible to everyone.
It is crucial to me that, during your therapeutic process, you feel supported, listened to and validated, and that you have a sense of usefulness and of learning tools to manage your distress.
