I am Riti de Pineda, a licensed clinical psychologist, and I specialise in working with people facing complex trauma, difficulties in attachment relationships and personality traits that can create conflict in their daily lives. In my practice, I combine tools such as schema therapy and third-wave therapies, as I am convinced that each person is unique and deserves a personalised approach tailored to their reality and specific needs.
One of my main interests is working on the life traps and dysfunctional schemas that keep us stuck in harmful dynamics, whether with ourselves or with those around us. I also bring an intersectional perspective to my work, taking into account factors such as a gender perspective, racialisation or gender identity, which shape each person’s experiences and challenges.
In therapy, rather than offering quick fixes or isolated strategies, I focus on gaining a deep understanding of what is happening in the different areas of your life and how these pieces relate to one another. I want us to understand together why what you have tried so far has not worked, so that we can build new ways of facing difficulties. My aim is not only to help you find useful tools, but also for you to get to know yourself better and develop a more compassionate relationship with yourself.
I want our sessions to be a safe space where you feel heard, respected and free from judgement. I am here to accompany you in this process of self-discovery and wellbeing, always with empathy and care.
